Steve TiceDirector
graduated from Messiah College, Pennsylvania, in 1981 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Music Education and a concentration in Piano. He continued his education at Ohio University where, in 1983, he received a Masters of Music degree in Composition and also completed course work in Music Theory. He began teaching piano at the Malverne School of Music in 1985 and became the Director in 1989. In addition to holding several Church Music Director positions over the last 25 years he accompanies and performs throughout the NY Metro area. In 2013 he completed a Doctorate from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, FL.
Audrey TiceCo-Director
As co-director with her husband Steve, Audrey enjoys many levels of involvement at the Malverne School of Music. She has been teaching private music lessons for over 30 years. She has vast experience and excellent rapport with students of all ages, from senior citizens to college music majors to 5 year olds. Mrs. Tice’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Messiah College as well as a Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance and Woodwind Pedagogy from Ohio University. In addition to her work at the music school, she has also been performing in a wide variety of venues, including local community orchestras, community theater, weddings, and church worship bands. She especially enjoys performing as a family with her husband and two adult sons.

Sarah LudwiczakTeacher
began her music training at age 8, playing violin for various orchestras, including Gemini Youth Orchestra. She participated in numerous festivals including NYSSMA. In 9th grade, she began the viola as a secondary instrument. She graduated from Hofstra University with a scholarship for music education, where she studied with Christina Meyer and Dr. Alexander Sharpe. She has been teaching at the Malverne School of Music since the summer of 2000. Sarah holds a Masters in Music Education and a NYS teaching license for K-12 in General Education and Students with Disabilities 1-6. Utilizing her talent in violin, viola, violoncello and contrabasso, Sarah is a seasoned string specialist with years of experience.
